Faith

Whatsoever and whosoever. Both words indicate no limits and both words are used by our Lord in reference to prayer.

Mark 11:22-24, “And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.”

We know that without faith, it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6).  Faith is more than believing God.  Devils believe and tremble.  Faith involves trust.  Faith is the magnet that draws God into our situations.  Jesus teaches us to exercise our faith and if we do, nothing will be impossible (Matthew 17:20).

What a bold confirmation to claim as we pray and cry out to God.  I like Paul’s teaching in Philippians 4:6, “Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made know unto God.”

If you are a “whosoever”, be bold enough to ask “whatsoever”. You might be surprised what God might do.  God always responds to faith. God always rewards faith where He finds it.
